Team learning and development is not an "event" but rather a "process". GM&A works with intact work teams to diagnose problems and recognize strengths, then collaborates with the team to design and facilitate the necessary learning or development processes. Teams come in many shapes and sizes including front-line, senior, departmental, project, committee, or task group and GM&A is comfortable working with all of them.
Regardless of the reason for getting together, teams work best when a safe and open atmosphere is established. Depending on its stage of development, appropriate activities are designed to enhance trust, encourage dialogue, support risk taking, engage humour, and enable team learning. Working with teams through difficult transitions is a key strength of GM&A.
